The Perfect Introduction to Iyengar Yoga

Are you new to Iyengar Yoga or maybe had a long break and would like to get back into it?

New Starter/ Returner Course

A weekly, 1 hour class for 6 weeks (1 Block); our New Starter Classes are the perfect introduction to Iyengar Yoga at Sheffield Yoga Centre. Also a great option if you’ve had a long break from yoga and want to ease yourself back into a regular practice.

Carefully structured and taught by fully-qualified Iyengar Yoga teachers, our New Starter Classes will introduce you to fundamental postures (asana) and basic breathing techniques. Working at your own pace in one of our serene and light filled yoga halls, after this short course you will be able to comfortably join any of our Level 1 classes.

Suitable for: Everybody! Especially complete beginners and those unfamiliar with Iyengar yoga, or if you’re coming back to yoga after a break.

When: Starts 2 September 2025, Tuesdays, 7.45 pm - 8:45 pm.
